Winter Season

If you love ice fishing, there’s no better place than Sportsman’s! Winter brings a special time and a whole new world to the North Country. Lakes once warm and wet, turn into a frozen expanse of ice thick enough to support cars, trucks, snowmobiles and of course, ice anglers. Walleye and sauger is the main fish we target but it is not uncommon to reel in an occasional pike, perch, crappie, sturgeon, tullibee, or eelpout too. We pick you up in a comfortable heated ice vehicle and transport you to your heated fish house where we have everything ready to go for you.
