COVID-19 

We want you to know we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and taking measures to keep you and our staff healthy and safe. We are and will continue to monitor and implement advisories from the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health as things change. We ask that if you are not feeling well or have been recently exposed to contact us and reschedule your trip for another time.  In accordance with the current Minnesota mandate, masks are required to be worn in all indoor public spaces when not eating or drinking.  We are also requiring guests to wear masks who will be riding in our on-ice transportation just like airlines and public buses. Dine-in services is not available until Dec 18. We will be offering take out and on-property delivery when our season begins until dine-in can resume. We ask that you please help us stay safe and in compliance by doing so and exercising social distancing practices.  We are committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness for everyone's safety and health. We will do everything we can to provide all services possible. In the event, the pandemic does not allow us to provide a service due to the health and safety of your and our staff, we will contact you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding during this time.

Checking in and out. We ask if at all possible only 1 person from the party come to the desk at one time.  Over the phone check-in and out is available as well if you prefer. Check-in, please call us before 3 pm on the day of arrival at our Rainy River location 218-634-1342 or Oak Island locations 218-223-8411. Check out, invoices are automatically emailed out on your day of departure. Please contact the front desk to make payment arrangements.

Rooms & Public Spaces. Sanitizer is available in common areas. Safety glass has been installed at our front desk and gift shop and foot pulls are installed in the public restrooms for no contact open and closure.  All rooms have been thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and aired out between each guest using the recommendations from the Department of Health.  At our Sportsman's Lodge Rainy River location, November 20 - December 18 for increased safety of everyone we will not be doing daily maid service.  We will supply you with extra supplies and daily outdoor garbage and towel pickup.  All nonessential decorative pillows and throws have been removed and extra blankets and pillows have been removed or are bagged to ensure cleanliness.  We are happy to provide you with extra items if you would like.  In accordance with the Governor's order, the pool, hot tub, and game room are closed until December 18.

Food & Drinks. Our staff is following cleaning and food preparation guidelines from the Minnesota Department of Health.  In accordance with the Governor’s order. We will be offering curbside pickup and on-property delivery when our season begins until December 18. At our Rainy River location, online ordering or ordering by phone is available by calling 218-634-1342.  At our Oak Island locations ordering by phone is available by calling 218-223-8411.

Ice Fishing. All fish houses as always remain exclusive to your group only. For added safety for the transportation to and from the fish house, we have installed extra ventilation, reduced load sizes, and will be requiring masks to be worn by all passengers like airlines and buses.
