Sportsman's Lodges, Where to Go If You're Goin' for Walleye

Sportsman's has Three Locations in the One and Only Walleye Capital of the World.

Alongside the nation's fifth largest lake, the Lake of the Woods is the Walleye Capital of the World. Catching fish here is easy because we take care of everything: accommodations, meals, licenses, rods and reels, bait, tackle, fish cleaning and our guides will put you on the fish (and tell good stories too)! All you have to do is show up!

Just south of the U.S. and Canada line is a Walleye, Muskie, Sauger, Northern Pike, Perch, Crappie and Rock Bass feeding frenzy. When you visit Sportsman's, regardless of the season, temperature, barometric pressure or any other factors...the Minnesota fishing here is legendary. From one season to another the only thing that changes is our approach, but the results are the same at Sportsman's in Minnesota, a great catch!

When you're here hauling in Walleye after Walleye, you'll see quickly why this is the The Walleye Capital of the World. There are also plenty of Muskie, Sauger, Northern Pike, Perch and Rock Bass depending on which location or time of year you choose to come.

You'll find a reason to stay at Sportsman's Lodge, whether you're looking for fine dining, relaxation, nightlife or a friendly atmosphere.

Sportsman's Main Lodge Quick Stats

We were at the Main Sportsman's Lodge in early June, we caught our limit in less than two hours,
it was without a doubt the most incredible fishing trip I've ever been on. Nonstop action,
no waiting for bites, the Walleye were striking early and often!
