The Hottest New Adventure in Ice Fishing! 

The invention of the SnoBear has created an all new concept in winter fishing.  This vehicle can accommodate up to three passengers. You will be able to virtually go anywhere there is good ice and fish reefs that previously have been untouched in the winter.

Sportsman's Lodge and independent guide Jim Hughes have teamed up to create a package that will take advantage of the whole lake this winter.  You can choose to take a snobear trip for just a day or your whole stay! 

Our most popular trips are to incorporate both our Rainy River & Oak Island Lodge locations.  Start your trip at Sportsman's on the Rainy – enjoy the fine food and entertainment the first night then the next morning you are  off to explore!  The next night will find you enjoying the hospitality of Oak Island with the warm atmosphere, cozy lodging and great food.  Stay as many nights as you like. Then on your departure day fish your way back our take a cruise back on the lake to the Sportsman's Rainy River and take in one last night of fine dining, dancing and the pool to end your Snobear Adventure.

Your guide will take care of all your fishing needs for the day as you explore in the fully equipped vehicle that will transport you and also serve as your fish house.
